About the Developer

Lumaris Studios is led by Donovan Rogers, a solo developer currently training toward advanced proficiency in game development through structured education and hands-on production. With a background in technical environments and a strong focus on systems thinking, Donovan brings a disciplined, iterative approach to building games.

His development philosophy emphasizes clarity, mechanical weight, readable animation, and the blending of grounded action with thematic worldbuilding. These principles form the backbone of early Lumaris projects and guide the studio’s long-term direction.

Current work focuses on deepening expertise in programming, asset pipelines, design patterns, UI/UX fundamentals, and modern production workflows, strengthening the foundation for all upcoming Lumaris projects.
